Romney enjoyed another surge in PRElection voting after Monday night's final presidential debate.  Among PRElection voters, Romney is now leading Obama 56 to 39, with a margin of error of 3.2%.  As we head into the final two weeks before the election, both campaigns are stepping up efforts to woo voters, especially the "undecideds".  It is now more important than ever that you tell everyone about PRElection and get out the vote! With your help, "we the people" can predict the election!

Monday, Oct 22

Ahead of Monday night’s foreign policy debate, PRElection voters have given Romney a 15-point lead with Romney 55, Obama 41. Romney’s lead has increased after each of the past three debates, so tonight’s debate should be very interesting to watch. If Romney continues his momentum gain in voting this could spell a decisive victory on November 6. Such a decisive victory might also translate into Republican control of the House and Senate, which Republicans would certainly take as a mandate for their positions.

PRElection will be monitoring results closely immediately following the debate and over the next few days.
Thursday, Oct 18

Building on momentum since the first debate, and continuing on through the second debate, Romney has widened his lead over Obama to 14 points, with Romney 55, Obama 41.  PRElection predictions have consistently been 3-4 days ahead of the national "polls" in predicting the current state of the voters.  Help make our predictions more accurate - get out the vote! Romney and Obama have done all the preparing they can do, and in a few hours, they go live in a town-hall style debate at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY.  With recent events surrounding Benghazi, the unemployment numbers, and polls appearing all over the map, this should be a very important and well watched debate.  As of 6:00 pm, PRElection voters have given Romney an 11 point lead, with Romney 53 and Obama 42.  While we have added many new PRElection voters since the first debate, voters have tended to stay their ground, sticking with their original choice.  PRElection will be very interested in how many, if any, of current voters change their vote as a result of tonight's debate performances.

Romney retains his PRElection voting lead at 51 to 45 as we move towards Thursday's Vice Presidential debate between Biden and Ryan.  Saturday Night Lives debate spoof didn't generate any surge in voting or in vote changes, with both major Presidential candidates adding votes steadily over the weekend.  PRElection represents real votes by real people.
Thursday, Oct 4

Romney became the first candidate to capture 50% of the PRElection vote this afternoon.  Results this evening show Romney 50, Obama 45.  Most media outlets today agree that Romney won he first presidential debate last night in Denver, possibly accounting for the swell in votes today.  Voting for both candidates has intensified since the start of the debate yesterday.  All eyes now turn to the vice-presidential debate between Biden and Ryan on Thursday, Oct 11.  PRElection encourages all its users to get out the vote and help predict the election by recommending the PRElection app to friends and colleagues throughout Twitter, Facebook, Linked-In and other social networking sites, and by texting and plain old word-of-mouth.

Thursday, Oct 4

As PRElection voters tweeted during the first presidential debate to get out the vote, voting intensified for both Obama and Romney. Voting activity slowed around midnight with Romney 49 and Obama 46. Even though the debate presented only two candidates, PRElection saw increased activity for several of the independent parties. The debate activity also generated an increase in Senate and House voting.
